I’ve seen on the mosaic FB groups where it’s recommended to spray a glaze (not sure what that means) after gluing, or apply Mod Podge after gluing. I know you use high quality paper but fir the Hobby Lobby and Michael’s papers, shoukd we apply anything after…

Hi Mary! I’ve been running circles with studio classes this weekend and just getting to your question. This paper is so pretty! If it’s porous and breathable, plain Weldbond should work great. Also, no fading. I have 15+ yr old samples that I just showed a class today that still look as good as new.🙂

Mini Mosaic Florals 2 months agoLiking how my florals turned out! The chalk paint was surprisingly easy to work with (but I did paint after finishing the majority of the mosaic — oops — so I used painters tape on everything to protect it). The last picture shows how bright the purple is a little better. Now to figure out a place to hang them!

Mini Mosaic Florals 2 months agoAfter watching Sharra’s lesson about grout, I got the courage to paint my grout black. I’m glad I did. I think the black is better. Just posting in case it’s helpful for anyone considering painting their grout. Going forward, I will definitely make my grout much darker!!! Moving on to my next floral!!
