I still have a lot of Dixie Belle “chalk” paint left over from my paint studio days. One thing that’s been super helpful is painting tongue depressors with each color and labeling the back with the name. It makes planning color schemes so much easier!
I also found this “Pick Me Up” pen from Silhouette. It has a low tack tip that helps me with…

Finished my last floral from the kit. Just need to clean it up and seal it. I learn so much with each new floral I make. Looking forward to my next one.

Fyi, my first mini mosaic floral is titled ‘Joyful Blooms’. I just finished my second one. I have titled it ‘Burgundy Rose’. I found the big pink rose pin at an antique store and wanted to use it in one of the florals. It’s so fun to experiment with the various components.

It’s awesome!

I decided to modify my first mini floral, after all. I gave in to the temptation to dismantle before it was too late. I’m glad I did as I was able to walk away and think about some different design elements. You just never know what you will find in your stash! Here is my new and improved first mini floral!

Love it, Cindy! It’s amazing how taking some time or distance from a project helps us to see it in new ways! The colors are so joyful! That background is one of my personal favorites. 🙂

Thanks, Sharra!
