Welcome to the Glass-on-Glass Class!

In this class we will cover an introduction to mosaic basics such as tools, adhesives, materials. We will also learn unique techniques like Gold Leaf Glass, Paper-Under-Glass Tiles, and Painted Tapestry Glass. In addition we will discuss some considerations to make when designing a mosaic.

This was actually my second-ever online course, originally launched in 2012—back when online learning was still a bit of a mystery! I remember students asking, “Wait, so… you’ll be there live?” or “There are videos?!” It was such a fun and experimental time.

Now, in 2025, the content has been refreshed and updated. I’ve reviewed every video, cleaned up the audio, and re-recorded much of the voice over for better clarity and flow. While the video quality still shows its age a bit, the lessons remain clear and full of inspiration.
